Untitled Kitchen Diorama

The work depicts a kitchen in active use, with attention given to the accumulation of objects characteristic of everyday domestic life. Cabinets hand-painted in terracotta and cream bear the subtle imperfections of a room that has been used — bacon curling in a pan, leftovers under wrap, a radio on the counter no one has moved in years.

Cabinetry is made from MDF and finished in layered acrylic paint. Food items were sculpted in polymer clay, while smaller objects were 3D printed. The sink’s standing water was achieved through successive pours of individually cured UV resin to simulate depth. All three-dimensional elements hand-painted by the artist.
